MSY College Mirzapur, a constituent unit of Magadh University, was established in 1982. Initially it was opened as the Intermediate School. It began functioning independently from 1982 when its foundation stone was laid by Late Mundrika Singh Yadav on 10 Sept 1982. Since 2011 then MSY College has been recognized as a Premier Institution of higher learning in Bihar. The College is centrally located in Mirzapur,Arwal, occupying an area of approximately 10 acres 7 decimil of land containing separate blocks for different departments.
